You can live the life you want to live

Jenilee Sneed, PhD C-IAYT

Licensed Psychologist and Yoga Therapist in San Luis Obispo, CA

You want to believe it’s possible to feel safe, grounded, and in control but you don’t know how to get there. Maybe you’ve even tried therapy in the past but it didn’t quite give you what you need. I can help you find the tools to decrease anxiety, manage trauma, and to live the life you long to live.

I’m Dr. Jenilee Sneed, and I’m here to help.

I know you have the capacity to heal inside you and I want to help you unlock it. I offer a warm and patient space where we move at your pace to help you feel truly seen and safe. From that foundation of trust and safety, I will teach you tools to help you manage your distress and together we will sort through the underlying causes that brought you to therapy.

I will take the time to truly understand you so that I can provide you with individualized care to meet your goals. My approach to therapy integrates a variety of therapy techniques to help you find the tools you need, grow in your self-awareness, and heal the wounds of the past.

As a licensed psychologist and certified yoga therapist with specialized training in trauma and anxiety, I use science backed techniques to help you stabilize your nervous system so that you can cope and function again. By working with not just the mind but also the body in session, we can create a path to get to the root causes of what brought you into therapy to help produce lasting change.

I have worked with many clients who have tried therapy before and not gotten the results they were looking for. In fact, I was also one of those people. I know what it’s like to have experienced trauma, suffer from anxiety, and wonder if you will ever feel well again. Somatic (mind/body) therapy both saved and changed my life. I hope to be able to partner with you and help you find the life change you desire as well.
